Today is Ernst's Day.  I ordered flowers for the henn Family and picked them up at 11am.  Alfred Hartung picked us up for the funeral at the Heidelberg Bergfriedhof.  I called dad because he wanted to be up and participate in the service in spirit.  As we gathered outside the chapel we greeted the other guests.  Pastor Maximillian Hesslein from Christuskirche officiated.  It was a beautiful and worshipful service.  After the service we walked the short distance to the graveside and compelted the interment.  We all then went to a reception at the Europäischer Hof Hotel, one of Ernst's favorite places of celebration. It was very nice to be with Ernst' friends and realtives.  Some came from as far away as London and France. A fitting tribute to our beloved Uncle and Friend.
